About Sennheiser PXC 550 II:
This is an over-ear closed-back wireless noise-canceling headphone from Sennheiser. This headphone normally comes at around 350, but right now, it’s on a massive sale coming in at just 200. So this is a headphone a lot of people are looking at, you know, for the holidays. They’re going to make a good gift for somebody, so you know, we’re going to go over that and see how it performs. To find effective design, consider checking out the Meze 99 Classics.
Design
The build is nothing all that special it’s a lot of plastic, but I don’t have any problems with plastic for Sennheiser. They’re quite good at having their headphones be long-lasting, and I would expect the same from this one. It also has some padding on the top, but unfortunately, the ear cups are uncomfortable. I find them to be just a little bit on the small side now they do the arms extend like this, so I find that you know for my head.
What’s New?
I got to extend them pretty far, and the clamping force is also a little bit on the tight side for me, you know, compared to the bose 700 or the sony xm4. Those were more comfortable to me than this one. Thankfully, you get a full cup swivel this way that turns the headphones off, and when you, you know, click it back this way, they turn on.

It does clamp down on my earlobe, so my earlobe is sticking below the bottom part of the pad, so even though these are not round for the ear cup, normally you don’t want an around-ear cup because ears aren’t round.
Control
I still find them to be just a little bit on the small side for my ears. This headphone has several different features, including noise-canceling, but just like many of its competitors. The pxc 552 has touch controls on the side of the cup.
Final Verdict:
In conclusion, the Sennheiser PXC 550 II stands out as a remarkable pair of headphones. They offer outstanding sound quality, advanced noise cancellation technology, and a comfortable fit for prolonged use, making them a worthy investment for audio enthusiasts. With their sleek design and impressive battery life, these headphones truly embody the blend of style and functionality. For anyone seeking a superior auditory experience, the Sennheiser PXC 550 II is a solid choice.
