LEGO Star Wars Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals 2022
I wasn’t familiar with the Imperial Star Destroyer (and frankly, I have no idea what it’s called in the movies) until this model came along, and I was surprised by how much detail and effort had gone into making it. Many moving parts click together (in fact, there are more than a few of those), and the model feels like it could take flight.
I haven’t finished assembling it yet, but I’ve been building with the set for about three weeks now, and it’s been so much fun that I’m going to keep playing with it for as long as possible. It’s also worth pointing out that the mini figures have very nice details. I have to admit that I didn’t know what to expect from the LEGO Star Wars 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer (75252 ISD) set, but the model itself is huge, with a lot of detail and a lot of pieces. It has an imposing look and feel, and the build is challenging.
Falcon & Naboo
The model is not just limited to the Empire, though. The build includes Darth Vader himself, and the Death Star is also part of the build, and although these two models are the main focus of the build, there are plenty of other cool ships, including a Millennium Falcon and a Naboo Starfighter. The set includes the Imperial Shuttle, but it’s unclear if this is the same one as the one included with the 75201 Millennium Falcon. I’ve played with other LEGO Star Wars 75xxx sets, but this one stands out. The model itself is big and imposing, and the level of detail in the model is very impressive. You’ll probably want to keep this set for years to come, and it’s one of the most exciting builds I’ve played with lately.
